The work was performed in an existing, operating Solid Waste Transfer and Material Recovery Facility, known as the Shoreway Environmental Center. Approximately 300 solid waste and recycling material transport vehicles use the site on a daily basis; the access to parking and the existing traffic patterns have been in place for numerous years and will be disrupted and revised to correct queuing, which extends traffic onto Shoreway Boulevard.

Key Project Features:
  • Transfer Station and Materials Recovery Facility (MRF)
  • Pre-cast bridge
  • Steel building
