This historic renovation project upgraded the existing two-story building and constructed a full-size basement beneath. Construction of the new addition included adding a large community hall, event kitchen and support spaces, as well as a senior service wing consisting of offices, classrooms and counseling area. The finished interior space is approximately 13,000 square feet. Additionally, new terraces were added to the west face of the two-story wing and a new courtyard was developed along an active downtown location. The renovation work included the installation of all new electrical wiring, conduit, fixtures, and appurtenances, all new mechanical HVAC equipment and controls, a new elevator system and controls, all new plumbing, including piping, fixtures, and associated items. Exterior work included hardscape, landscaping, irrigation system, and improvements to the public street and sidewalk areas.
