This project consisted of expanding the District’s treatment plant from 11.5 mgd of average dry weather flow to 17.0 mgd of dry weather treatment capacity. The following improvements were made: installation of a new bar screen building; modifications of existing headworks; new and modified grit and primary sedimentation tanks; new and modified aeration tanks; new aeration blowers and expanded blower building; new waste activated sludge pumping station; new and modified sedimentation tanks; modified dissolved air flotation thickener; new and modified digesters; new and modified foul air systems and odor treatment filters; new electrical substation; and modified piping, pumps, structures, electrical, instrumentation and all appurtenant facilities.
