The project included the design and construction of a 4 million gallon pre-stressed concrete, type I wire-wound circular prestressed concrete tank, including all site work, excavation, backfill, reinforcing, disinfection, testing and appurtenances directly related to the tank. A stainless steel hydrodynamic mixing system was incorporated into the construction to serve as the inlet and outlet for the tank. Site piping, including fill/drain lines, overflow lines, foundation drain lines and landscaping along with irrigation piping were also installed.
- An essential feature of this project was the use of continuous, circumferential, strand wound prestressing.
- A sculpted architectural rock façade was incorporated to the blend the tank into its surroundings.
