This project consisted of two interrelated projects, a pipeline and a wastewater treatment plant. The first project was the construction of a new 2.8 mile sanitary sewer relief pipeline through central portions of the City. The pipeline was built to convey peak wet weather flows to the wastewater treatment plant. The second project was the $3.2 million wastewater treatment plant project which consisted of installing additional facilities designed to handle peak wet weather flows.
